First, create a child profile by tapping the + button on the home screen. Give the child a name, choose an emoji avatar and a folder colour. Then open their folder and tap the camera button in the bottom-right corner. Point the camera at the drawing, tap the shutter, give it a name and tap Save!

Yes! There is no limit to the number of child profiles you can create. Each child gets their own private folder with a unique colour and emoji. Tap the + circle in the top-right of the home screen to add more profiles.

No. Drawing Vault works entirely offline. All drawings are stored on your device. The only features that require internet are showing ads (free version) and making the in-app purchase to remove ads.

All drawings are stored in the app's private folder on your iPhone. They are not visible in the Photos app or Camera Roll, and they are not uploaded to any server or cloud. Only you can access them.

If you delete the app, all drawings stored inside it will be permanently deleted along with the app. We strongly recommend exporting a backup before deleting. Go to Settings → tap Export next to a child's name to save a .tkv backup file to your Files app.

No personal data is required to use Drawing Vault. No account, no name, no email. If you use the free version, ads may collect anonymised usage data for ad personalisation — you can opt out when the app first asks for tracking permission. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Go to Settings (gear icon on the home screen) → find the child under Backup & Restore → tap Export. The app creates a .tkv file containing all their drawings and metadata. Save it to Files, iCloud, or send it via email.

Go to Settings → Import .tkv file. Select the .tkv file you exported earlier. The app will create a new child profile and restore all drawings with their original names and dates. The process takes a few seconds depending on how many drawings there are.

Yes. Export a .tkv backup on your old phone, send the file to yourself (AirDrop, email, iCloud), install Drawing Vault on your new phone, and import the file via Settings. All drawings — including original creation dates — will be restored perfectly.

Tap the 👑 crown button on the home screen or in a child's gallery to open the upgrade screen. The one-time purchase costs €0.99 and removes all ads permanently. No subscription.

Go to Settings (in the app) → tap Restore Purchase. This will verify your purchase with the App Store and re-activate Premium. If the issue persists, please contact us below.

Yes. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID on both devices, you can restore your Premium purchase for free on any iPhone or iPad. Tap Restore Purchase in Settings.
